The galvalume steel coils’ structure of aluminum-zinc alloy is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon solidified at 600℃, and its entire structure is composed of aluminum-iron-silicon-zinc, forming a dense quaternary junction crystal, thus forming a strong and effective barrier to prevent corrosion factors from penetrating. The test under the same outdoor conditions shows that the service life of galvalume plate is more than quadruple that of galvanized plate.

Aluminum-zinc-coated steel has high thermal reflectivity, good heat resistance, and high coating adhesion. At the same time, with the same weight and the same thickness of the gold plating layer, the aluminum-zinc-coated steel has a larger area than the galvanized steel plate by more than 3%, which has higher economic efficiency. It is widely used in automotive, home appliance, construction and other fields.
