Causes of zinc slag generation
The hot-dip galvanizing production line is primarily used for corrosion protection in metal fabrication, and hot-dip galvanizing is typically the method chosen. During operation, the hot-dip galvanizing bath generates zinc slag. This slag from the hot-dip galvanizing line can adversely affect the entire manufacturing process. If the slag can be promptly addressed, it will help reduce raw material consumption more effectively. So, how exactly is this hot-dip galvanizing line slag formed?

1. The zinc bath undergoes various anti-corrosion treatments; both the liquid zinc and iron elements in the hot-dip galvanizing bath can generate zinc slag.
2. If aluminum is added to the zinc bath, a relatively small amount of zinc compounds will be produced, which in turn will lead to the formation of zinc slag.
3 Zinc slag can be divided into bottom slag and sludge; some of it may accumulate on the coating.
This zinc slag can all harm the surface and its function, increase costs, and lead to significant resource consumption.
