Through continuous practice and exploration, we have established a solid foothold in the fiercely competitive market and become a leading player in our industry.
Within the Shuangtang High-End Hardware Products Industrial Park in Jinghai District, there is a national-level high-tech enterprise. Since its establishment in 2011, in just 12 years, General Manager Yu Maosong and his entrepreneurial team have transformed HaiGang Company—from a small startup with only five employees and 60 mu of vacant land—into a modern, technology-driven enterprise capable of producing over one million tons of galvanized products annually. Since going into operation, the company has grown steadily from small to large, strengthening its capabilities step by step, and has gradually achieved a transformative leap—from quantitative change to qualitative transformation.
“To enhance product competitiveness, we must embrace innovation,” said Yu Maosong. He deeply understands that innovation is the primary driving force behind a company’s success. “Therefore, highly qualified technical personnel and technology leaders are absolutely essential.” Yu Maosong established the company’s Technology Center and has continuously engaged in R&D and innovation. By constantly experimenting with new process technologies, he has significantly reduced unit energy consumption, spare parts usage, and labor costs, playing a positive role in improving yield rates and pass rates. Currently, Haigang Steel Coil has obtained 3 invention patents and 58 utility model patents.
“Leveraging its technological strengths, the company continuously upgrades equipment and innovates processes, deeply integrating industrialization with informatization to reduce energy consumption and enhance product quality.” Through ongoing innovation and development, the enterprise has earned numerous honors and titles, including the National High-Tech Enterprise Certificate, AEO Certification, Top 100 Enterprises, Model Enterprise, Specialized, Refined, and Novel Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprise, and Tianjin’s “Gazelle Enterprise,” among others. For Yu Maosong, these achievements are not only a source of recognition but also a powerful motivator. “Therefore, we must continue to practice and explore relentlessly, ensuring consistent product quality and taking the lead in technological innovation within our industry—using technology to drive industrial development.”
Yu Maosong explained that, to ensure the company’s healthy and sustainable development, from the very beginning of its establishment, he has placed energy conservation and environmental protection at the strategic forefront of the company’s development. In terms of equipment procurement and process design, he has given priority to energy-saving and environmentally friendly criteria, continuously increasing investment in environmental protection efforts and improving and adding various environmental protection facilities, such as acid regeneration and wastewater treatment systems.
In addition, Haigang Steel Coil places great emphasis on safety work and has specially established a Safety Production Office. Taking opportunities such as conducting safety production training, emergency drills for safety incidents, and identifying and rectifying safety hazards, Haigang Steel Coil strengthens basic management, focuses on standardizing safety management, consolidates the concept of safe development, and ensures long-term stability and safety in production.
Today, as a supplier of products to numerous well-known companies, Haigang Steel Coil enjoys strong sales in 30 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China, and is also exported far and wide to Europe and the U.S., Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and other regions... Among Haigang Steel Coil’s total sales, 95% are generated through exports via traders and direct exports by the company itself. For five consecutive years, the company has ranked first in Jinghai District in terms of export sales. Behind these impressive figures lies not only the company’s commitment to superior product quality and an environmentally friendly production philosophy, but also its unwavering adherence to the principle of “integrity.” Yu Maosong stated that Haigang Steel Company’s continuous growth and development have always been guided by the principle of keeping one’s word as valuable as gold. Internally, the company ensures timely and full payment of salaries and benefits to its employees, effectively boosting their initiative and enthusiasm. Externally, all sales contracts signed with customers—whether due to fluctuations in raw material prices or changes in foreign exchange rates—are strictly honored according to the agreed terms.
